A Visual Feast at Provedore Café

Tuesday, May 6th, 2025

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Provedore Café in Port Hedland to capture a series of promotional images. Known for their colourful, beautifully plated dishes and welcoming vibe, Provedore Café was a dream to photograph.

But it wasn’t just about what was happening on the table. To round out the shoot, I also took a few drone shots of the stunning surrounding Port Hedland landscape. It’s always exciting to mix food photography with a sense of place, giving a broader visual story that connects a business to its environment.

I recently had the pleasure of working on a photography project for The Esplanade Hotel in Port Hedland, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable shoots I’ve done in a while. The brief? Capture heritage imagery around South Hedland and Port Hedland—with complete creative freedom.

The final images have found their way onto the hotel’s menus, website, and walls within the restaurant. There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing your work printed and hanging in a space where locals and visitors can appreciate it while grabbing a meal or a drink.

Big thanks to the team for trusting me with such a wide creative brief—it’s always refreshing to work with clients who value vision over strict direction.

If you’re ever in Port Hedland, pop into The Esplanade, grab a bite, and check out the images on display. You might even spot your favourite bit of Hedland in one of the frames.
