Promotional Photography for The Maali – Perth Zoo

Tuesday, May 6th, 2025

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful outdoor function at The Maali, located inside Perth Zoo.

The event was set up entirely outdoors, surrounded by greenery and natural light, which created a calm and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect setting to showcase the venue’s connection to nature and its relaxed, open-air feel.

My focus for this shoot was capturing the overall vibe of the event—the details of the setup, the fresh food, and the lush surroundings that make The Maali such a unique space for functions and gatherings.

Big thanks to the team for having me—it was a pleasure to photograph such a beautiful spot in the heart of the zoo.

Market Day Magic: A Community Celebration in Photos

Tuesday, May 6th, 2025

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Tucker Fresh IGA’s vibrant Market Day events. Held once a month at one of their 12 stores, Market Day is more than just your average grocery run—it’s a full community celebration.

Kids enjoy face painting and craft tables while locals sample delicious bites from Western Australian suppliers, there’s something for everyone.

My goal for the day was to capture the candid joy and connection these events foster—whether it was a child proudly showing off their craft, a family enjoying tastings, or staff chatting with regulars. Tucker Fresh IGA clearly values its community, and Market Day is a brilliant showcase of that spirit.

Instagram Film Competition – a great way to build your following

Monday, March 30th, 2015

Rockingham Shopping Centre created an under 18 Instagram Film competition with the theme ‘This Is Rocky.’ We were hired to help promote the competition, so we came up with the idea to create a series of 6 videos that can help the entrants produce a higher quality product. Have a watch you might pick up on a tip or two!

Innovator of the year 2014 Video Production

Sunday, November 30th, 2014

The Innovator of the Year program, organised by the Western Australian government, is to promote and commercialise innovative business solutions and products.

We have been lucky enough to do be part of the amazing program for a few years in a row now and every year we find it more inspiring than the last. We are helping to promote innovation in Western Australia!

The videos are featured as a back story for each of the finalists, these are played just prior to the awards winner announcement and also, as promotional tool online for the finalist after the event is over.

PR Event Highlight Video – A great way to Advertise

Elmar’s Beer and Food Festival

A highlight video of an event is a great way to have social media interaction. It just needs to be fun, upbeat and short in duration. Let your followers know what you are up to. By utilising video it gives the audience an idea of what the event was like and encourages them to attend the next one. A great way to advertise your next event.

Golf…”Accurately” Commentated- Corporate Event Video Production

Wednesday, August 8th, 2012

Every year the Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets put on an annual corporate golf day for their clients at Joondalup Resort. Knowing our comedic background (Craig’s youtube videos) they asked us if we could provide event video coverage of the day to be played at a gala dinner the following evening. The only requirements we were given was that it had to be funny and it had to be edited in only a few hours.

Best part was we got to drive around a golf cart all day!

Testimonial:
“This is the 4th year we have been doing videos. This is by far the best one we have had.
On the event night the crowd was in hysterics for the whole duration of the video.”
